Designed by the practice of Robert A. M. Stern Architects with an eco-friendly scheme, the Tour Carpe Diem is a skyscraper located in La Defense, France improves pedestrian access to the area due to a raised esplanade continuing the Champs-Elysees axis.
The project spreads over a surface of 45500 square meters and is accessed through a pedestrian street that opens to the winter garden and lobby with a large stair to descent to a plaza in the Boulevard Circulaire.
The façade has multiple facets to make the structure more remarkable and to reflect the changing lights on the area in a more dynamic manner. The mezzanine has a corporate cafeteria and employee restaurant with an overview of the Boulevard, while the dale level contains a winter garden and a sky lighted oasis where an exotic vertical garden is located.
The upper thirty levels host offices and the rooftop is occupied by a clubhouse with conference facilities, meeting rooms and a dining room with 80 seats.
