Sava Foodbridge is the design of the Arhitektura D.O.O.practice which studio designed the Ribja Footbridge in Ljubljana.
The bridge crosses the Sava canyon at Bled and its main purpose was to provide an additional crossing for the hikers in the area. The simple design with transparent edges permits a good view of the water and natural around the structure so that the passers-by can admire the surroundings while taking a breath of fresh air.
The inclination toward the interior of the bridge ensures the safety of those crossing it and there is a shift in the motion axis to the backward. There are bridge leaps at the two ends of the project to check the overall motion of the trajectory and the bright color chosen for it allows it to stand out without being in contrast with the surrounding natural landscape.
