This apartment in Gothenburg, Sweden is an example of what can be done with a little space and a lot of taste. Although the surface of the whole place is only of 56 square meters, the way it was designed shows a wealth of perspective and imagination.
From the entrance you get accommodated to the predominantly white walls through a hallway that also has oaken colored floors and leads to the kitchen and the living room. The living room tries to combine the old with the new and has a cozy fireplace, which is also white, along with some pieces of furniture on all sides.

The bedroom also possesses some minute flowery wallpaper that fits well with the rest of the room and completes the colors of the bed in a peaceful way. Speaking of wallpapers the tiny one in the kitchen manages to bring the room closer to nature, just what is needed next to the generous cupboards. There is also a balcony that has enough room for a table and several chairs for the warmer days.
The main advantage of this apartment is the high ceiling that permits the vertical placement of objects and utilities. And the designers make plenty of use of this feature to maximize their space. Built with ingenuity and style this is indeed a sweet home.
